Temperature Control
The Magic Light Pro+ features a safe LED cold-blue spectrum light and an advanced temperature control system to prevent pulp overheating. Pre-programmed modes regulate the gel surface temperature to 41°C–42°C (106°F–108°F). Combined with the pulp’s natural microcirculation, this system ensures both the tooth surface and intra-pulpal temperatures remain safe, maintaining a normal pulp temperature of 35°C–37°C (95°F–99°F).
Why Is This Important?Light activation with halogen, plasma arc, or laser lamps can raise tooth-surface temperatures by more than 20°C/36°F, reaching 60°C/140°F or higher. Intra-pulpal temperatures can also increase by over 5°C/9°F, potentially leading to severe tooth sensitivity or irreversible pulpal damage. The Magic Light Pro+ minimizes these risks by maintaining precise and optimal temperature control throughout the bleaching process.
